RMD Reports and Online RMD Quotes

In early November, Talcott Resolution mailed brokers a report containing clients’ Required Minimum Distribution (RMD) quotes. Not included in that mailing were clients whose contracts are custodian owned, or clients who are already enrolled in our Automatic RMD Program.

If you would like to run an RMD quote for individual clients, log into our Annuity Service Center (ASC). Once you are logged in, go to "My Clients" and select the contract number for which you would like to process a quote. Then go to the "Manage Contracts" tab and click on the RMD quote link. After completing the quote process, you may print or save the quote electronically for your records. The ASC also offers Book of Business filters to view your clients’ qualified contracts who are of RMD age.

Deadline For 2023 Transactions: December 29, 2023
|

For certain transactions with financial or taxable impacts to be processed in the 2023 tax year, such as Required Minimum Distribution, partial or full surrenders, Annuitization, or taxable Ownership Changes, Talcott Resolution must receive completed forms, in good order, before 4 p.m. Eastern Time on Friday, December 29, 2023. During this busy processing time, we ask that requests be submitted earlier in the day, whenever possible. 2023 Holiday Operating Schedule

The Talcott Resolution Contact Center will follow our normal hours of operation: Monday through Thursday, 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., and Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Eastern Time. However, we will be closed on Monday, December 25, 2023, and Monday, January 1, 2024.

An Update to Talcott Resolution’s eDelivery Method for Clients is Coming Soon
|

Talcott Resolution is always working to provide clients with the very best service. Currently, our eDelivery process provides clients their documents as password protected email attachments. We are working on improving our eDelivery method to provide clients with more convenient and secure access to their important documents.
|

eDelivery of documents will be changing from emails containing password-protected email attachments to emails with link(s) informing clients that document(s) are available. Clicking on the link(s) will bring them to our Annuity Service Center (ASC), where they can access their current and past documents, as well as other tools that help make managing their annuities faster and easier.
|
|
Clients must be registered in the ASC to take advantage of this new and improved eDelivery process. They can use this link to go to the ASC login page, where they can create a new account, manage delivery preferences, and view their important documents.

As a reminder, you can also enroll for broker alerts by logging into the Annuity Service Center and selecting “My Profile”.
